ENV 104

An introduction to environmental challenges and opportunities which emphasizes that humans are part of ecosystems within interdependent cycles which involve other organisms, air, water, chemicals, and energy. The course examines the relationships of humans to their environment from historical, economic, scientific, aesthetic, and ethical perspectives.

This course looked at how the environment round us effects us in our everyday lives. It was less abut reading books on the environment and more about what is does for us. We read books that connected the story of the earth to us, we taught others about topics we researched, we debated climate change ideas, we learned something new from other students every class, and we made sure to never do the same thing twice, which helped the class greatly.
